Abstract
Archeology of the Arab Mind by Dr. Shawky Jalal is an important book that deals with several issues that searched in the depths of the soul and history, the reasons for societal problems, and the active inherited mind. At the same time, it is trying to build a new mind to support the march of civilization. This can be achieved through a journey that he described as a stage of searching for mind depths and goals; the answer to a question he poses is how to think and act with absolute confidence? depending on our inherited cultural assets instead of studying what is happening in cultural accumulation.  He believes that societies that are in the stages of transformation and transition, returning to their inherited culture with a critical mind in the light of their needs. These societies re-examine and sort their cultural assets, revealing the shortcomings and the inability to interpret and accomplish the new developments to move forward and compete in the race of civilization existence.
